Tips to be followed on Hot Summer Days


  • In hot summer days, even if we are in the Air conditioning environment dehydration may be caused.
  • It leads to headache. So taking plenty of fluids and the summer fruits will keep us hydrated and fresh.
  • Avoid taking the alcohol and sugar rich fluids. Since, it may cause to lose more fluid from the body. And also more cold fluids will leads to stomach cramps.
  • Large amount of exposure to sunlight may cause skin cancer.
  • Hence protect your skin from the sun like wearing hats, helmets, long sleeve shirts and sunglasses.
  • Use sunscreen of SPF more than 30 to protect our skin against UV rays.
  • The chance for food poisoning is high on summer days. So before taking the foods check it well.
  • Going out in the morning or evening hours is better in the hot weather days. Since, it will avoid most of the skin problems caused by the sun in hot daytime.
  • If you are continuously working or moving in the hot weather means take rest frequently in some shade place to balance the thermostat level of your body.
  • While in the hot days, if you are feeling any pain on the skin and the skin becomes reddish means that may be sunburn.
  • So avoid to exposure the affected area to the sun light.
  • Then immerse the affected area in cool water and apply any moisturizing lotion or aloe on the affected area. If it is like blisters means don’t break it.
