- Winter season gives us some sort of happiness. But we should take care about our health during winter season to avoid seasonal affective disorder (SAD) and some diseases like flu and cold.
- Take fresh fruit and vegetables. In cold days, the home-made vegetable soups are better choice of food.
- Because, vegetable soups are the source of vitamins and also it helps our immune system.
- Monitor your body not to become fat by taking some wrong foods.
- Don’t stay always in the home. Just come out for some time or at least open the window daily to breathe the fresh air.

- Make yourself active by doing some exercise regularly or play any indoor games.
- Take enough rest. Becoming overtired will decrease the immune power and will give a chance to any infections.
- In winter season, most of the people are affected by the disease Influenza. Hence it is better to take some preventive measures like vaccination to avoid a victim of Influenza.
- You may take zinc, vitamin C and Echinacea as medicines to decrease the duration of symptoms of common cold.
- The Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a kind of winter depression affects a large number of people in every winter.
- So to get rid off SAD, just come out in the daylight for some time daily.
